ABOUT YOGA WITH JAYNE

Jayne's journey into the world of movement began with her early training as a dancer. However, a pivotal moment arose when a spinal injury interrupted her professional dance career, leaving her  bed ridden for three months. It was after this challenging period that Jayne discovered the profound healing potential of yoga while traveling in Thailand. Motivated by her newfound passion for both physical and mental well-being, she immersed herself in the practice at the renowned Orion studio.

This transformative experience fueled Jayne's desire to deepen her understanding of yoga, leading her to the birthplace of this ancient discipline, Rishikesh, India. In 2016, she completed her 200hr Teacher Training Course (TTC) at Vyasa Yoga Peeth. Returning to India in 2018, she pursued her 300hr TTC at Kranti Yoga in Goa, delving into Vinyasa, Ashtanga, and Hatha Yoga.

Jayne's teaching style reflects the authentic influence of Indian traditions, blending flowing movement, strengthening asanas, breathwork, sound healing, and meditation. Her commitment to holistic well-being extends beyond yoga, as she delved into systematic kinesiology to deepen her understanding of the body from a unique perspective.

Amidst the challenges of lockdown, Jayne took a creative leap by crafting her own transformative online yoga and meditation course, "Release, Restore, Regain Your Roar." Additionally, she co-founded an online platform, "Fierce Confident Soul Sisters," dedicated to supporting and empowering women.

With over six years of teaching experience, Jayne has shared her passion for yoga in the UK and internationally, leaving an indelible mark on students in diverse locations, including India, Switzerland, and Cyprus. Her journey is a testament to the transformative power of yoga, inspiring others to embark on their path of healing, self-discovery, and empowerment.
